Department Overview

With offices located around the world and with more than 650 professionals, the strength of TD Securities Global Operations lies in the diverse and dynamic group of individuals who are dedicated to providing ongoing support functions for TD Securities\' businesses and their partners. As part of TD Securities, Global Operations professionals have the opportunity to learn end to end processes, as well as create relationships with different lines of business. The Regulatory Reporting Group (RRG) has operational oversight to ensure compliance standards are being met for an assortment of regulatory reporting mandates globally, on behalf of TDS.

The team is responsible for maintaining BAU functions, delivering against Change Initiatives and driving efficiencies aimed at providing a robust, scalable, and flexible infrastructure, whilst maintaining and managing the risk appetite.

Job Requirements

\xc2\xb7 Solid knowledge of Capital Markets and willingness to continue enhancing knowledge

\xc2\xb7 Solid knowledge of trade life cycle

\xc2\xb7 Solid technical knowledge of Python and SQL

\xc2\xb7 Strong relationship management skills required to handle both internal and external stakeholders

\xc2\xb7 Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

\xc2\xb7 Experience with client data systems and processes is preferred

\xc2\xb7 The successful candidate will be expected to promote team effectiveness and a positive work environment, fostering a culture that empowers individuals to identify opportunities for improvement and effect meaningful change

The position requires the selected individual to manage the trade reconciliation process for the regulatory reporting process, as well as liaising between multiple internal parties to analyze and resolve open items / issues and additional requirements impacting regulatory trade reporting, as they arise. Duties Include ensuring the team achieves the following:

\xc2\xb7 Maintaining BAU functions, such as overseeing the successful submission of regulatory reporting and manage the resolution of discrepancies that arise. This includes liaising with various internal

stakeholders, such as Compliance and Technology, globally, as well as keeping senior leadership comprised of any concerns as they are identified.

\xc2\xb7 Logging, tracking and managing issues and action plans between Business, Compliance, Operations and Technology segments leads as a result of an outage/error in the reporting process

\xc2\xb7 Define resolution plans with all stakeholders and ensure completion is achieved with agreed upon SLAs

\xc2\xb7 Facilitating meetings between multiple stakeholders and decision makers to ensure projects are appropriately tracked and delivered on time

\xc2\xb7 Provide progress reports to senior management, clearly stipulating constraints, dependencies and delays that may impact overall delivery

\xc2\xb7 Prepare and submit regulatory reports to regulators and other entities, from a wide range of internal departments

\xc2\xb7 Manage development of action plans pertaining to changes / additions to all regulatory requirements

\xc2\xb7 Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and automation of manual tasks
