Position Title: Director, Creative

EA\'s marketing creative team defines the creative ideas that underpin our campaigns and consumer-facing brand behaviours. As a part of a global group of creatives, strategists, technologists, channel experts and producers, we work in close collaboration with our studio and brand partners to define the steel threads that guide campaigns and consumer-facing content across our franchises. This involves creative engagement from creation to execution; including franchise & brand foundations, campaign narratives, content planning, creative platforms and creative direction for assets and activations. As a Group Creative Director of Marketing & Communications, you will report to the Senior Director of Creative, and partner with Studio, Brand, Strategy, Communications and other cross-functional teams, to define the present, and future of EA Sports FC. This role would be based in Vancouver, Canada. Hybrid work model is an option, with a requirement to be in the office 3 days each week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with marketing and studio teams to develop the creative platforms and executions for global go-to-market campaigns.
  • Work with the larger marketing team to implement creative ideas across communications, content, and channels.
  • Work with strategy, brand and channel data to develop and refine ideas based on insights and strategies that inspire more engaging creative work.
  • Advocate for the creative work of the team to internal partners and leaders
  • Collaborate with our channel teams to develop and support creative and content platforms.
  • Beyond the ideation of the creative, partner with the Brand and partner teams to ensure quality and integrated execution of the creative across channels.
  • Lead internal creative teams throughout marketing.
  • Be the Creative POC for all external vendors and agencies.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 10+ years in a CD role within a creative agency, sports brand, gaming company or entertainment brand
  • Experience building and guiding creative teams to success
  • Experience marketing global sports brands or partnerships
  • Experience in game marketing is beneficial
  • A leader: Inspiring and influential voice with experience selling in creative experiences to different audiences
  • A storyteller: an understanding of cohesive narrative across everything from a presentation to a pithy end-line to a piece of content
  • A creator: you guide creativity that inspires breakthrough activations and content across a variety of media
  • Insights: an ability to turn insights into fresh ideas.
  • You love football: the game, the culture, the athletes and the stories that surround this incredible and dynamic sport
  • You have experience in similar global sports
