Group Benefits Renewal Analyst

Job Description

As a group benefits renewal analyst, you provide technical support to help develop life and health insurance processes and programs, prepare insurance contracts and documents, administer reinsurance agreements and settle contested medical matters. You serve as technical expert and provide discipline-specific support for your unit's activities, initiatives and processes. The ability to tailor your approach as needed is therefore essential. You research and analyze processes, information management and data processing. You draw on your sound decision-making skills to solve technically complex problems and recommend ways to change or adjust methods and procedures to make them as effective and efficient as possible. More specifically, you will be required to:

Examine trends and issues that interfere with underwriting at renewal. Conduct analysis and determine issues and trends to monitor. Determine action plans with concerned stakeholders Hold proactive discussions with the underwriting sector regarding the issues , risks and financial impacts on group benefits Identify and suggest renewal strategies to the account manager Develop and provide support for renewing each client Prepare documentation for the account managers to provide partner advisors Take part in identifying best practices and optimizing work methods, procedures and rules

What you bring to the table



College diploma in a related field A minimum of three years of relevant experience Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
