Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc. are looking to fill the full-time winter seasonal Griz Kids Centre Assistant Supervisor position at Fernie Alpine Resort. The Griz Kids Centre offers combined indoor play and lesson packages for kids aged 3-5. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Snow School, the ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and team player with strong customer service skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced mountain environment. Experience working in childcare, kids programs, and the snow sports industry is an asset. You Will:


Be responsible for the efficient daily operation of the Griz Kids Centre and its programs in conjunction with the Griz Kids Centre Supervisor on alternate schedules Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and health and safety standards. In conjunction with the supervisor. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum. Address and resolve any issues or concerns from parents or staff. Maintain accurate records, including attendance and incident reports. Provide indoor supervision of kids, leading kids through drawing and playtime. Play and engage with kids during indoor time. Initiate corrective and disciplinary action as necessary with support from the Griz Kids Supervisor


You Have:


Completed the BC 20-Hour Responsible Adult Course Valid Emergency First aid for children course Experience in a supervisory role Excellent communication and organizational skills
