We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grill Cook to join our busy kitchen team. Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes according to specified recipes and presentation standards Ensure all food is prepared efficiently, maintaining consistency and quality throughout service Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the grill station, adhering to food safety regulations Assist in meal preparation, including marinating, seasoning, and portioning ingredients Monitor cooking times and temperatures to guarantee food is cooked thoroughly and safely Restock supplies as needed, ensuring the workstation is fully equipped for service Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service during busy periods Follow health and safety guidelines at all times, including proper handling of food and cleaning procedures

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques, especially grilling methods Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting is desirable Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Good organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
