Job Description

:

Brentwell Construction is seeking a reliable and experienced Gravel Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of gravel, sand, and other materials to various job sites, primarily for construction and roadwork projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and drive a tandem or tri-axle gravel truck in a safe and efficient manner Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues Follow all DOT and company safety standards Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site managers, and other team members Ensure proper weight distribution and secure loads in compliance with regulations

Requirements:

Valid Class 1 Clean driving record Minimum 2 years of truck driving experience (gravel hauling preferred) Knowledge of local roads and routes Able to lift up to 50 lbs Strong work ethic and attention to detail Must be willing to work 10 - 12 hours shifts Must be willing to travel for work. Work locations are Salmon Arm, Revelstoke and Vernon.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with construction sites and safety protocols Mechanical knowledge of trucks and trailers Equipment operating experience Equipment mobilization and demobilization
