We are currently looking to hire a Gravel Truck Driver.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Gravel Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Transporting material with Gravel Truck and Pup. Operate equipment efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle heavy equipment.

The Role Includes:

Operate Tandem Gravel Truck with pup or equipment trailer. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of gravel, equipment and cargo. Utilizing forklifts when necessary. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Perform minor automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.

Qualifications

Valid commercial Class 1 driver's license.(Required) Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record.(Required) Familiarity with heavy equipment operation. Experience operating forklifts is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform basic automotive repairs. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.

Pay: $29.50-$33.00 per hour
