We are a growing civil construction company based in Shawnigan Lake, We're looking for a skilled and motivated
gravel truck driver
to operate ourtandem axle dump truck
. Preference will be given to candidates who are capable of managingtheir own dispatching
and coordinating deliveries directly.Responsibilities
Operate tandem axle dump truck to haul gravel, sand, and other materials Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections Coordinate and manage your own dispatch schedule Communicate effectively with site supervisors, suppliers, and other drivers Ensure timely and accurate delivery to job sites Follow all company safety policies and transportation regulations
Requirements
Valid
Class 3 (or Class 1) driver's license
with a clean abstractMinimum 2 years of experience
operating gravel/dump trucks Strong knowledge of local roads and job site logistics Experience with self-dispatch is astrong asset
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Physically fit and comfortable working in outdoor conditionsSchedule
Monday to Friday Overtime as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Pay: $32.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 - 60 per week
