This hybrid role blends visual creativity with digital strategy. The manager is responsible for designing eye-catching graphics and managing a brand's presence across social media platforms to drive engagement, awareness, and growth. As well as label designs for new products and updating current labels.
We are looking for someone who is creative with a passion for their craft in graphic design. A familiarity of CFIA's labeling guidelines would be preferred.
Candidates need to have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, have the ability to work independently or with a team, have strong adaptability skills, a willingness to do some manual labour, and have a strong ability to multi-task.
Responsibilities will include:
Design graphics, illustrations, and layouts for posts, ads, stories, and campaigns
Maintain brand consistency across all visual assets
Create templates for recurring content and branded assets
Develop and execute content calendars and platform-specific strategies
Write engaging captions and curate multimedia content
Monitor trends and adapt strategies to maximize reach and engagement
Track performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions)
Use insights to refine content and posting strategies
Present design concepts and campaign ideas to stakeholders
Respond to comments and messages to foster community
Knowledge and experience with the following is required:
Adobe Illustrator and InDesign
Adobe Photoshop
Procreate or any Vector based softwares
Corel Draw
Social Media Platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter & Pinterest)
Wages are negotiable at time of interview and based on experience.
Knowledge and experience using a heat press and hat making equipment will be an asset.
Preference will be given to those that have the following:
Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field
Portfolio showcasing social media design work, included with their resume
Experience managing brand accounts or running campaigns
