Job Description






The Humberview Group is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our Digital Marketing team! As a Graphic Designer for The Humberview Group, you will create visually captivating digital and print assets for our various brands and marketing initiatives. You will report to the Art Director and collaborate with fellow Graphic Designers and Marketing Specialists to develop innovative designs that enhance our online presence and communicate our brand messages. Our digital marketing team's work model is hybrid: we work Monday-Tuesday from home, and Wednesday-Friday from our downtown Mississauga based office.
Salary Range: $45,000 - $48,000 annually.

Job Duties:
  • Create and edit visually appealing digital assets, including website banners, social media graphics, email templates, videos and digital advertisements.
  • Understand project requirements and concepts, collaborating with team members to gather necessary information.
  • Develop and execute design concepts using industry-standard software tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Design engaging and visually appealing posts for social media pages and channels.
  • Work seamlessly with various manufacturer brands, ensuring consistent brand guidelines are followed.
  • Collaborate with team members and prepare files for print and digital handoff, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Optimize designs for various digital channels and screen sizes to maximize user experience.
  • Stay updated on design trends and best practices to suggest new ideas and improvements.
  • Seek feedback from the Art Director and other designers, incorporating suggestions to improve design work.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as required.
What We Look For:
  • A Bachelor's degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
  • Sound understanding of graphic design theory and principles.
  • 2 years experience in a digital graphic designer, in-house/agency or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the current Adobe Creative Suite and web software, combined with an artistic and design background.
  • Strong typographical and layout skills across various digital and print media and software.
  • Some experience with designing and building email campaigns and landing pages.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
