Are you a designer looking to create things larger than life? Do you enjoy working on a variety of projects for a variety of clients? Have the skills to design for print and 3D signage? Position Overview The Graphic Designer is responsible for the design of various graphics for clients including but not limited to wall murals, vehicle wraps and indoor/outdoor signage. Essential Duties and Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Represent Reimer Graphics in a professional manner, in all client correspondence, whether written or verbal.
- Communicate with clients and the Design Manager to determine the scope of a project.
- Advise clients on strategies to reach their desired project goal.
- Work with customers along with the Design Manager to create artwork for various projects.
- Facilitate in house printing, cutting and finishing of materials as required.
- Maintain server file organization.
- Send files electronically to clients, suppliers and co-workers.
- Maintain organization and neatness of design area.
- General assistance, including some local travel to customers, suppliers, etc. as required.
- Ensure internal and client sign offs are received before production.
- Incorporate changes recommended by the clients into the final design.
- Review designs for errors before printing and ensure proper material.
- Upon printing of the file, upload an installer proof on the server.
- After printing, clearly label with the laminate and/or mounting substrate.
- Update Monday.com with progress statements throughout the duration of the project.
- Update Monday.com with square footage, material used, design time.
- Immediately communicate any stumbling blocks, or potential missed deadlines.
- Monitor and communicate inventory levels.
- Maintain a clean and safe office/work environment.
- Anything else asked (within reason) by Management.
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- French not required
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime pay
- Beamsville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
- DCS / DEC (preferred)
