Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Graphic Designer II on a permanent basis at our Home Office in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

You will be responsible for creative concepts and designs, which meet our marketing objectives, from idea to completion. You will create high-quality designs that adhere to our brand standards, support business objectives, and are appropriate for the medium of delivery. Clients include FCL Business Units and over 165 local Co-ops. The scope of work includes designing for internal business units and special projects for FCL and local Co-ops.

• You will produce original, impactful, high-quality designs that adhere to Co-op\xe2\x80\x99s brand standards and support the company and client objectives.
• You will effectively collaborate with team members, production artists, and copywriters to produce original work.
• You will create multi-channel marketing campaigns and promotions for print and digital applications.
• You will mentor and provide creative feedback to team members.
• You will consult and communicate with stakeholders on jobs of strategic importance.
• You will assist with the execution of our Store Brands and Facilities d\xc3\xa9cor design.
• You will assist the Creative Supervisor in developing brand guidelines as required to ensure standards are met.
• You will provide insights and observations into new trends, tactics, and marketing channels to ensure relevant and innovative work is continually produced.
• You will stay up-to-date with new and emerging graphic design technologies.
• You will produce high-quality work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Strategy & Communications and:

• You have a diploma in Graphic Design and 3-5 years of graphic design experience OR you have a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in graphic design and 1-3 years of experience in graphic design.
• You have strong organization and communication skills.
• You have demonstrated knowledge of applied design fundamentals and current digital technologies.
• You are proficient with Adobe Creative Suite package. Limited use of Microsoft Office.
• You have experience in photography, illustration, and UX design (required).
• You have experience in packaging and d\xc3\xa9cor design (asset).
• You have a strong understanding of typography and layout.
• You\xe2\x80\x99re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
• You believe in collaboration, building relationships, and value the perspectives of others.
