We currently have an opening for an energetic, creative and ambitious Graphics Designer to join our team!!! This is not a remote position and will be based out of our Yellowhead location in Edmonton, Alberta. We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for an individual that has an eye for creating quality content, is a multitasking superstar and efficient with handling multiple brands and projects. The ideal candidate must be organized, knowledgeable in both digital and print design and experienced in social media management. Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work with our Marketing Team to help promote our brands
• Prioritize tasks and/or projects for completion within designated deadlines
• Develop creative content (site graphics, social media ads, blog content)
• Landing page design
• Image and video editing
• Design promotional items (signage, flyers, brochures, etc)
• Remain up to date with product knowledge
• Proactive problem solving and trouble shooting
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and protocols
• Bring your imagination and positivity to work

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Recognize the importance of establishing a connection with our customer base, catering to target markets and potential design ideas for attracting new clientele
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Graphic Design or Diploma from a 2-4 year related design program
• Minimum 2 years experience working in a similar role
• Digitally savvy and detail oriented
• Proficient with Adobe Creative programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Premier Pro & others (an asset)
• Design knowledge in (UX, digital & print)
• Experience with image/video editing and basic coding (HTML & CSS)
• SEO writing (an asset)
• Experience with Shopify (an asset)
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal & written)
• Professional, team player with a positive \xe2\x80\x9ccan do\xe2\x80\x9d attitude
• Exceptional work ethic, motivated and driven to obtain goals
• Familiarity with fitness equipment with a strong interest in Fitness and Healthy Living (an asset)
• Have a great sense of humor!!
