About Our Opportunity

As the Grants System Coordinator you will provide independent, specialized, professional expertise focused on the grant application lifecycle by managing, maintaining, and enhancing the Grants Management System, an SAP web-based CRM System. You will be responsible for providing technical guidance, investigating, advising, and troubleshooting complaints and incidences regarding the system. As well you will plan, develop, evaluate, test, promote and monitor new initiatives/enhancements of the system for users. You will work closely within a team environment, supporting junior staff, as well as working with industry partners and championing innovative technical solutions.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Working strategically with industry partners with a continuous improvement mindset to enhance our Grants Management System for user experience and reporting capabilities
  • lead quality audits within the Grants Management System and produce related financial reports for senior leadership and program managers
  • complete service requests, incident reports, security onboarding/offboarding and annual system upgrades including regular user acceptance testing
  • troubleshoot between all integrated systems
  • Facilitate training to end-users
  • Review client history and profile reports, year-end processing, accountability reporting, briefing materials and other ad-hoc requests
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you have a post-secondary degree in a related field plus five (5) years of related experience. An acceptable equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

You have technical experience working within financial software and/or grants management software as well as a strong demonstrated skillset using Microsoft Office programs with a focus on Excel. You have experience in a client-orientated environment applying the concepts of equity, diversity, and inclusion to all areas of your work and support your colleagues to do the same.
You have experience partnering and building productive relationships supporting your colleagues, senior management, and industry partners. You have a strong demonstrated focus on attention to details and accuracy with the ability to handle large quantities of financial data. You have a strong problem solving, troubleshooting and research skillset using both analytical and conceptional thinking as it relates to applications, systems development, and financial analysis. You have demonstrated presentation and/or facilitation skills.

Assets considered for this position:
  • Technical experience working with SAP CRM/Grants Management System and SAP financial software (ECC)
  • Demonstrated experience with application-based lifecycles

Pay Grade: PR 13

Salary Range: $2,543.38 - $3,091.70 Bi-Weekly
