Grants Coordinator (Full Time - 12 month term)

Alberta Innovates is seeking two, 12-month term Grants Coordinator positions at our Edmonton location. The successful incumbants will be responsible for administering and supporting our grant funding programs as part of a team.

The successful incumbent will be accountable for, but not limited to:
  • Day to day administration of grant files, including the processing of applications and agreements as well as maintenance of grants files throughout their lifecycle
  • Assisting with information gathering in response to program audit requests
  • Working with program areas and External Clients with assist in ensuring compliance to grants administration process
  • Maintenance of electronic client files
Qualifications:
  • A diploma from a recognized post-secondary business administrative or business program
  • A university degree in a related field is preferred
  • Previous experience in a granting organization or office environment, including handling confidential information
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Able to work within timelines, independently and with a team
  • Familiarity with grants administration processes is an asset
