As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will play a crucial role in sourcing passive candidates, attending networking events, and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will lead the full cycle recruitment process, providing valuable insights to hiring teams and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.What NAV CANADA offers you:Challenging, team-oriented work environmentCompetitive compensation and flexible benefitsDefined benefit pension planOpportunities for growth and developmentFlexible work arrangementsDiverse and inclusive workforceIn this role you will:Build strong relationships with hiring managers and external partners to understand their hiring needs and priorities.Provide valuable insight and advice to hiring teams regarding candidate selection and recruitment best practices.Lead the full cycle recruitment process from job posting to offer negotiation and onboarding.Post jobs, screen resumes, conduct screening calls, and participate in interviews to assess candidates\' qualifications, etc.Actively source passive candidates to fill existing vacancies and build talent pools for future needs.Attend networking events, job fairs, and other recruitment-related activities to promote the organization as an employer of choice.Stay updated on relevant legislation and ensure recruitment practices comply with legal requirements.What you bring:Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Proven 3 years experience as a Talent Acquisition Advisor or Recruiter.Strong understanding of recruitment techniques, sourcing strategies, and candidate assessment methods.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software (ie: Workday).Experience working in a unionized environment, a strong asset.How others describe you:Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills.Detail oriented with high level of accuracyAbility to work independently, but as a part of an extended national team.Excellent communicator in both French and English.Proven ability to exercise sound judgement and discretion.Working Conditions:This position is based at the Ottawa Head Office (hybrid environment) and the successful candidate will be required to travel as required for job fair and networking events.NAV CANADA is committed to building a skilled, diverse workforce reflective of Canadian society.
