Graduate Student Research Assistant Faculty Of Education (up To 2 Positions)

Job Description

Dr. Miller, Faculty of Education, is looking for two graduate students to assist with a project which involves analyzing k - 12 large-scale assessment data on learning outcomes before, during, and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
This opportunity is open to all graduate students however preference will be given to UPEI Faculty of Education graduate students with experience in analyzing quantitative data.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



Review learning loss reports from other provincial jurisdictions Systematically analyze large-scale assessment data on learning outcomes using quantitative techniques Prepare a technical report

QUALIFICATIONS:



Enrolled in the Faculty of Education graduate program Expertise in quantitative statistics Excellent writing skills Excellent communication skills Expertise using SPSS

This position is covered by a Collective Agreement between the Public Service Alliance of Canada and the University of Prince Edward Island. Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students.


TERM: August 4, 2025 - September 26, 2025 (8 weeks)


HOURS: 10.73 hours per week


SALARY: $27.81 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay, as per PSAC Local 86000
