Job Overview
We are looking to hire 3 tutors at Lady of Learning Tutoring Services! The tutor should have gone to high school and graduated University here in Canada. . The right candidate MUST live in Oakville or Burlington themselves. The tutor needs to be able to travel to students' home located in Oakville, Burlington, and potentially Milton. The tutor needs to be able to tutors ALL these subjects from Grade 9-12: Math, Calculus, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Please kindly do NOT APPLY if you do not meet this criteria. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to educate and inspire students, helping them achieve their academic goals. This role involves working closely with students in a one-on-one, providing personalized instruction tailored to their individual learning needs. The Tutor will create a supportive and engaging learning environment that fosters student growth and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Tutor Grades 9-12 in all these subjects: Math, Chemistry, Physics, Biology.
• Tutor must be able to travel to Oakville, Burlington, and open to Milton.
• Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to develop tailored lesson plans.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
• Create a positive and encouraging atmosphere that motivates students to learn.
• Skills
• Be committed and consistent to their schedule with student. No last minute cancellations and is looking to stay with Lady of Learning for a long time not just temporarily.
• Will be committed to this job for a minimum of 1 year!
• Strong background in tutoring or teaching, with the ability to educate effectively.
• Excellent in Tutor High School Students in Math & Science.
• Ability to build rapport with students, fostering trust and confidence in their abilities.
• Strong organizational skills to manage lesson plans and track student progress.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
