Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Bulldozer Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating bulldozers and other heavy equipment to perform various tasks such as digging, grading, and paving. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Duties

Operate bulldozers and other heavy machinery for construction and excavation projects. Perform tasks such as digging, grading, building, and paving according to project specifications. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Collaborate with other operators and crew members to complete projects efficiently and safely. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on-site. Assist in the operation of loaders, backhoes, graders, and horizontal drilling equipment as needed. Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any issues or concerns to supervisors.

Qualifications

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with bulldozers. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is preferred. Ability to operate additional machinery such as loaders, backhoes, graders, and horizontal drilling equipment is a plus. Strong understanding of construction practices and safety standards. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Must possess a valid driver's license; additional certifications for heavy equipment operation are advantageous. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks associated with construction work.
