Job Description


One of our major banking clients is looking for a Google Analytics Specialist (Bank, GTM, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
Length: 1 year contract with a strong possibility of an extension or permanent
Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid - 1-2 days in the office
LOB: Digital Marketing
Hours: 9am-5pm

GROUP/PROJECT INFO:
Managing the google Tag manager platform. Essentially CAN and US, the group puts in tracking codes (tags) to help banks\' use that information for digital marketing. Also, looking at our Google Analytics implementation and acting as an expert to analyze things and enable teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):

1. Google Tag Manager (GTM) Platform Support

  • Implementing Canadian Banks\' & USA Banks\' digital advertising tags within GTM (including QA & troubleshooting)
  • Creating and setting up variables in GTM
  • Creating and setting up GTM data layers
  • Being an expert with Google Analytics and enabling interesting analysis where required
2. Banks\' Teams Support
  • Managing Banks\' teams questions related to tag/tracking challenges
  • Data layer recommendations and testing across new website application forms, changes to application forms, and new campaign pages
  • On-going communication with the marketing teams and the application teams to understand new application flow changes/AB testing changes and it\'s impact to GTM
TOP SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
  • At least 2 years of experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM)
  • JavaScript, HTML, CSS and modern framework (AngularJS, React, etc.)
  • Experience with Google Analytics
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
  • Google advertising platforms (CM360, SA360, DV360)
  • Facebook Advertising Platform (FB Business Manager)
  • Experience with SQL Queries
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • experience with google analytics
SOFT SKILLS:
  • Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent data driven decision making
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills and a demonstrated ability to prioritize work in a demanding environment..
  • Collaboration & team skills; with a focus on cross-group collaboration
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
