We are currently looking for an

enthusiastic, customer-service-driven

individual to join our

Golf Shop team!

This is a

part-time

position from approximately August to mid-November, depending on the golf season.

About us

We aren't your typical golf course. We are also a premier wedding venue, a restaurant, and a go-to place in Langley to host charity golf tournaments. Every day is something different and exciting!

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Reliably open and/or close the Golf Shop*
Answer phone calls regarding tee time bookings and general inquiries*
Greet and assist guests before and following their visit*
Execute sales for green fees, driving range, merchandise, clubs and rentals*
Be knowledgeable about the tee time reservation system*
Ensure that booking and playing privileges for staff and public are being followed*
Be knowledgeable about all products and merchandise available in the golf shop*
Offer consistent professional, engaging, and friendly customer service*
Handle in-person complaints relevant to golf operations*
Assist with the course pace of play and golf etiquette as needed*
Assist with the general cleanliness of the golf shop, driving range, golf carts, and clubs as needed*
Assist with troubleshooting issues at the driving range as needed*
Maintain a professional appearance at all times*
Other duties as assigned*

Knowledge of Club Prophet POS is an asset*
Cash handling skills are an asset*

Qualifications

Knowledge and understanding of the game of golf is required*
Valid Basic First Aid Level, CPR-C, and AED Certification, or equivalent, will be required to be maintained during employment*
Willingness to complete a Police Information Check is required*
Previous experience at another golf course is an asset*
