Summary

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our crew at The Legends Golf Club as a part time mechanic with the option to work full time as part of the grounds crew. This role is essential in maintaining the beauty and playability of our golf course, ensuring that every golfer enjoys a top-notch experience. If you have a passion for tinkering the shop, outdoor work and enjoy being part of a team, this position is for you! Options are available to work just part time as the golf course mechanic at around 20 hours per work, or full time working a hybrid of shop work and course maintenance.

Responsibilities

If Seeking Part Time/Casual:

Inspection, diagnosis and repair of all golf course equipment including mowers, small engine equipment and golf carts Schedule and perform routine maintenance, and repairs Mower grinding and cutting unit maintenance Any other duties required to keep the golf course running efficiently
If Seeking Full Time:

Above listed plus Assist in the daily maintenance and upkeep of the golf course grounds. Mow greens, fairways, and rough areas to ensure optimal playing conditions. Perform landscaping tasks including planting, trimming, and watering plants. Help with seasonal preparations such as winterization and spring cleanup.

Requirements

Experience as a mechanic Ability to work alone Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscaping is an asset but not required. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Must have a valid driver license
