Essex Golf & Country Club is seeking motivated, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as
Golf Backshop Attendants
. This is an ideal opportunity for those looking to gain experience in a fast-paced golf environment while delivering exceptional service to members and guests.Key Responsibilities:
Greet members and guests warmly and assist with golf bags Clean, organize, and store golf bags, push carts, and power carts Maintain cleanliness of the backshop, cart barn, and staging areas Prepare and stage power carts for daily play, including cleaning and charging Assist with end-of-day cart return and closing duties Support golf operations staff as needed
Requirements:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Positive attitude, punctuality, and strong work ethic Available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays Must be able to lift 30+ lbs and be on your feet for extended periods Prior golf experience is an asset, but not required
