Van Isle Glass is looking for a responsible, self motivated, Glass Technician to join our team in Victoria BC.

We are seeking a candidate with a background in the glass industry who can take on projects complete them from start to finish with minimal oversight and good attention to detail.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Cutting and shaping Flat Glass, Mirror, Neoceram. Cutting shaping and installing Laminate Glass (Excavators Ect...) Residential glass measurements and installation of Sealed Units. Automotive Windshield Installation. Automotive Glass Installation, Door, Side, Hatchback, Etc.... Windshield Rock Chip Repair. Advanced

driver-

assistance systems(ADAS) Recalibration. Provide customer service & support. Ensure that all equipment, and work areas are kept clean and organized. Ensuring customer worksites and vehicles are tidy and clean.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED Flat glass cutting experience Minimum 4 years documented work experience Valid BC drivers license Is able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Skills trade BC (ITA) Glazier or Auto Glass Technician certification is preferred. With 4 years experience we will offer assistance in gaining your Skills trade BC Certification.

Compensation / Benefits

:

The wage is between $28 and $38 per hour depending on certifications, qualifications, ability, and experience.

Standard 40 hour work week.

Assistance will be provided to obtain additional certifications.

Bonuses typically $2,000 to $6,000 will be paid Annually.

Two to Three weeks vacation time based on previous work experience.
