La personne occupant ce poste aura comme mandat la gestion des operations quotidiennes de securite, notamment, en dirigeant et en veillant aux mesures de securite des evenements, des installations et pilotant les strategies technologiques associees. Elle jouera un role cle dans la protection des infrastructures et des parties prenantes, contribuant ainsi a maintenir un environnement securitaire pour tous. Elle agira egalement comme personne-ressource, collaborant etroitement avec les differents departements internes ainsi qu'avec les autorites, agences et partenaires externes, afin d'assurer une planification optimale des besoins en securite. Ce poste exige une grande flexibilite, notamment en raison d'un horaire variable selon les matchs et evenements. La personne titulaire pourra aussi etre appelee a intervenir sur les differents sites operationnels du Club.
Principales responsabilites
Gerer l'ensemble des services lies a la securite des installations, evenements, acces et situations d'urgence, et faire le lien avec les organismes officiels.
Planifier, developper et appliquer les procedures d'urgence avec les autorites et la Major League Soccer.
Reviser annuellement les plans de surete et securite, recommander des ameliorations selon les meilleures pratiques.
Concevoir, mettre en oeuvre et superviser un systeme de securite integre (surveillance electronique, controle des acces, prevention incendie).
Surveiller proactivement les equipements de securite et coordonner leur maintenance.
Adapter les mesures de securite aux normes et codes en vigueur, notamment pour la securite incendie.
Definir et mettre a jour les protocoles d'evacuation et d'urgence.
Donner des instructions claires aux equipes lors des interventions d'urgence.
Organiser des formations de securite pour sensibiliser les employes aux procedures.
Coordonner avec les services medicaux pour assurer une reponse rapide aux urgences.
Realiser des evaluations de risques et proposer des mesures correctives.
Mener des enquetes sur les incidents et documenter les actions prises.
Tenir a jour tous les dossiers et registres necessaires relatifs a la securite.
Entretenir des relations solides avec les forces de l'ordre pour faciliter la collaboration.
Se tenir informe des lois de securite et veiller a la conformite des installations.
Collaborer avec l'equipe des operations et du service a la clientele pour ameliorer la securite et l'experience spectateur.
Recruter, former et encadrer le personnel de securite, planifier les horaires pour garantir une couverture optimale.
Participer a l'elaboration et a la gestion du budget du departement, identifier les economies possibles.
Effectuer toutes autres taches connexes.
Job description
The person in this role will be responsible for managing daily security operations, notably by leading and overseeing security measures for events and facilities, as well as driving associated technological strategies. They will play a key role in protecting infrastructure and stakeholders, thereby helping to maintain a safe environment for everyone. They will also act as a resource person, working closely with various internal departments as well as with authorities, agencies, and external partners to ensure optimal planning of security needs. This position requires a high degree of flexibility, particularly due to a variable schedule based on matches and events. The incumbent may also be called upon to intervene at the Club's various operational sites.
Main responsabilities
Manage all services related to the security of facilities, events, access control, and emergency situations, and act as the liaison with official organizations.
Plan, develop, and implement emergency procedures in collaboration with authorities and Major League Soccer.
Conduct annual reviews of safety and security plans, recommending improvements based on best practices.
Design, implement, and supervise an integrated security system (electronic surveillance, access control, fire prevention).
Proactively monitor security equipment and coordinate its maintenance.
Adapt security measures to current standards and codes, particularly for fire safety.
Define and update evacuation and emergency protocols.
Provide clear instructions to teams during emergency interventions.
Organize security training sessions to raise employee awareness of procedures.
Coordinate with medical services to ensure rapid emergency response.
Perform risk assessments and propose corrective measures.
Conduct investigations into incidents and document actions taken.
Maintain all necessary records and registers related to security.
Build strong relationships with law enforcement to facilitate collaboration.
Stay informed about security laws and ensure facility compliance.
Collaborate with the operations and customer service teams to improve safety and spectator experience.
Recruit, train, and supervise security staff, and schedule shifts to ensure optimal coverage.
Participate in developing and managing the department budget, identifying possible savings.
Perform any other related duties as required.
Qualifications

Detenir un diplome en securite et etudes policieres, securite publique, criminologie ou dans un domaine connexe.
Posseder une experience significative dans le domaine de la securite, idealement dans des environnements tels que des complexes sportifs, des installations publiques ou des infrastructures a fort achalandage.
Excellente connaissance des systemes de securite, de surveillance et de controle d'acces.
Bonne maitrise des lois et reglements en matiere de securite au Quebec.
Detenir ou etre admissible a obtenir les certifications DEA, premiers soins, RCR et autres certificats pertinents.
Capacite a garder son sang-froid et a reagir efficacement en situation d'urgence.
Competences demontrees en gestion d'equipe et aptitude a diriger avec efficacite.
Excellentes habiletes en communication, en service a la clientele et en resolution de problemes.
Aptitude a gerer plusieurs projets simultanement, de maniere autonome, et a travailler sous pression dans des delais serres.
Flexibilite pour travailler selon un horaire non traditionnel, incluant les soirs, fins de semaine et jours feries, selon les besoins.
Maitrise du francais et de l'anglais, a l'oral et a l'ecrit; la personne devra etablir des relations d'affaires a l'interieur et a l'exterieur du Quebec et traiter regulierement avec la Major League Soccer basee aux Etats-Unis.
Bonne connaissance de la suite Microsoft 365.
Required qualifications
Personality !: Proactive, resourceful, meticulous, solution-oriented, and a strong team player.
Hold a diploma in security and police studies, public safety, criminology, or a related field.
Possess significant experience in the security field, ideally in environments such as sports complexes, public facilities, or high-traffic infrastructures.
Excellent knowledge of security, surveillance, and access control systems.
Strong understanding of safety laws and regulations in Quebec.
Hold or be eligible to obtain certifications such as DEA, First Aid, CPR, and other relevant credentials.
Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergency situations.
Demonstrated team management skills and the ability to lead efficiently.
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work independently, and perform under pressure within tight deadlines.
Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written; the individual must be able to build business relationships within and outside Quebec and regularly interact with Major League Soccer based in the United States.
Good knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite.
