Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced, highly vigilant, and motivated

Security Manager

to oversee and manage the safety and security operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in

security operations

team leadership

, and

loss prevention

, with proven experience managing security personnel and systems.

This role requires hands-on leadership, a solid understanding of law enforcement and security procedures, and expertise in surveillance technology, including

CCTV and access control systems

. The Security Manager will play a critical role in safeguarding company assets, employees, clients, and visitors while maintaining a safe and secure environment across all facilities.

Key Responsibilities



Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive security policies and procedures to protect company assets and personnel. Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate security staff to ensure high performance and compliance. Monitor and manage surveillance systems (CCTV) to identify suspicious activity and potential security breaches. Conduct regular security audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities. Respond promptly to security incidents, conduct investigations, and prepare detailed incident reports. Coordinate and collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services when required. Oversee loss prevention strategies to reduce theft, vandalism, and property damage. Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, licensing requirements, and legal standards. Manage access control systems and ensure all security equipment is functional and properly maintained. Lead by example and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements



Minimum 3-5 years of previous security experience

in a supervisory or management capacity.

Demonstrated management experience

, including staff supervision, training, and scheduling. Proven experience in security management, law enforcement, or a related field. Strong knowledge of

CCTV systems, surveillance technology, access control, and loss prevention techniques

.

Valid handcuff and baton training certification

(mandatory). Ability to assess risks accurately and implement effective mitigation strategies. Excellent leadership, communication, and report-writing skills. Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure or emergency situations. High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail. Relevant certifications in security management or law enforcement are an asset (but not mandatory).
