Le ou la Gestionnaire principal(e) des communications aux employes de Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) sera responsable de concevoir et de deployer des strategies de communication interne visant a informer, mobiliser et rallier les employes a la mission et aux priorites d'affaires de l'entreprise.
Relevant d'un gestionnaire base aux Etats-Unis, la personne retenue travaillera dans un environnement matriciel complexe et contribuera a l'harmonisation des strategies de communication au sein des trois unites d'affaires de Pratt & Whitney : moteurs militaires, moteurs commerciaux et P&WC.
Ce role comprend aussi l'elaboration de strategies ciblant les employes de premiere ligne, tout en appuyant le positionnement de P&WC comme employeur de choix et comme acteur corporatif engage dans sa communaute.
Le poste requiert une combinaison de leadership, de vision strategique, d'excellence operationnelle et de capacite d'influence aupres de la haute direction. Une parfaite maitrise du francais et de l'anglais, tant a l'oral qu'a l'ecrit, est essentielle afin de collaborer efficacement avec les partenaires internes et de repondre aux besoins de traduction en temps reel.
La personne retenue dirigera une equipe et encouragera une culture axee sur l'excellence et l'amelioration continue. Un esprit strategique, de solides competences redactionnelles et une forte credibilite aupres des dirigeants sont essentiels pour reussir dans ce role.

et s'effectue exclusivement en presentiel.
Responsabilites

Encadrer les membres de l'equipe responsables des communications fonctionnelles au sein de P&WC, en assurant l'alignement avec les strategies globales de Pratt & Whitney et de RTX, tout en les adaptant aux realites locales.
Conseiller les vice-presidences et la haute direction sur le role strategique des communications internes et sur les meilleures facons de soutenir les objectifs d'affaires.
Elaborer, executer et mesurer la strategie de communication aux employes de P&WC et appuyer la campagne en aviation civile.
Coordonner les communications internes lors d'evenements corporatifs (assemblees generales, rencontres du president, etc.), incluant la gestion des fournisseurs et des equipes internes.
Collaborer avec l'equipe mondiale des communications d'affaires afin de s'assurer que les messages diffuses appuient les objectifs strategiques de P&WC.
Optimiser les communications destinees aux employes de premiere ligne, en collaboration avec les equipes Engagement des employes et Canaux & contenu.
Conseiller l'equipe de direction de P&WC ainsi que l'equipe des communications sur les meilleures pratiques en matiere de communication.
Suivre les indicateurs de performance et proposer des ameliorations continues aux strategies et canaux de communication.
Encadrer les membres de l'equipe sur la redaction adaptee a l'ensemble des employes de RTX.
Rediger, traduire et reviser divers contenus : allocutions, messages de direction, articles, courriels, presentations, points de discussion, etc.
Maintenir une connaissance approfondie des priorites strategiques, de la performance d'affaires et du marche afin d'assurer des communications pertinentes et opportunes.
Veiller a l'amelioration continue grace aux donnees, a la retroaction et a l'evaluation des resultats.
Mettre a jour et ameliorer les processus, procedures et outils standards lies aux communications.
Rester a l'affut des tendances en communication interne et proposer des approches novatrices a l'equipe Mobilisation et a la fonction Communications.
Exigences
-------------
Baccalaureat en communications, relations publiques, journalisme ou domaine connexe, ou experience equivalente.
Minimum de 10 ans d'experience pertinente en communication interne.
Experience averee dans le developpement et l'execution de strategies de communication aux employes avec resultats mesurables.
Habilete a batir de solides relations de collaboration et a influencer la haute direction.
Solides competences redactionnelles et grand souci du detail.
Experience en communication corporative aupres de cadres superieurs.
Capacite a travailler sous pression, a gerer plusieurs projets en parallele et a respecter des echeances serrees.
Maitrise de la suite Microsoft Office, Poppulo et autres outils de communication.
Disponibilite a voyager (10 a 25 %).
Ce poste s'inscrit dans un milieu de travail francophone, neanmoins il necessite une tres bonne connaissance de l'anglais pour lire et comprendre, sur une base quotidienne, de la documentation et des termes techniques qui peuvent emaner d'organisations internationales, ainsi que pour ecrire et communiquer en anglais avec des clients, des fournisseurs ou des collegues internationaux.

The Senior Manager of Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) Employee Communications will develop and implement internal communications strategies to inform and engage employees, connecting them to P&WC's mission and business priorities. This individual will possess a strong ability to work within highly matrixed organizations and a "plus one" mentality as they will report to a US-based manager responsible for aligning the employee communications strategy and execution across all three Pratt & Whitney Strategic Business Units: Military Engines, Commercial Engines and P&WC.
In addition, this role will develop the communications strategy to engage P&WC's frontline employees and work closely with team members positioning P&WC as an attractive place to work for potential talent and responsible corporate citizen in our communities.
This role requires a blend of leadership, strategic insight, operational excellence, tactical execution and the ability to influence at the highest levels of the organization. It also requires a mastery of spoken and written French and English (perfect bilingualism will be essential for working with our translation company and supporting real-time translation needs in a demanding environment).
This position will lead a team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. A strategic mindset, excellent writing skills and strong executive presence are critical for this role to effectively engage with senior leaders and employees across P&WC, Pratt & Whitney and RTX.
This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in
Longueuil
, and performed exclusively on-site.
What You Will Do
Oversee team members who directly support functional communications at the P&WC level, ensuring alignment with broader Pratt & Whitney and RTX strategies, but customizing for P&WC's local realities.
Advise VP-level internal partners on the strategic role of Communications and how the team can best support crucial business objectives.
Develop, execute and measure employee communications strategy for P&WC and the Civil Aviation campaign.
Lead internal elements of event planning for the P&WC president (town halls as well as other corporate events), including coordination of all activities performed by both vendors and employees.
In partnership with the Global Business Communications team supporting P&WC, oversee the strategic development and execution of employee communications that advance P&WC's business goals.
Work across the Employee Engagement and Channels & Content teams to optimize and streamline communications with frontline employees to help drive company success and advance the company's organizational effectiveness.
Act as a trusted internal communications advisor to the communications team supporting P&WC as well as P&WC's leadership team to advise on communication best practices, providing guidance on effective communication techniques and strategies.
Using an outcomes-based approach, track metrics and identify opportunities to continuously improve communications and P&WC-specific channel strategy, in partnership with the Channels & Content team.
Coach all communications team members on how to write for RTX's broad employee base (not just P&WC).
Ensure consistent message pull through of business priorities, aligned to goals in all communications, maintaining a high standard of quality and accuracy.
Engage with the Global Business Communications team to maintain a deep understanding of strategic priorities, business performance, and market dynamics, ensuring that communications are timely, relevant, and sensitive to external factors.
Write, translate and proofread content such as: briefings, leadership messages, articles, one-off emails, talking points, presentations, etc.
Drive continuous improvement by leveraging metrics, soliciting feedback, and applying advanced evaluation and analytics methodologies.
Usage, maintenance and update of standard work, procedures and processes related to communications.
Remain at the forefront of engagement communication trends, bringing fresh, forward-thinking ideas to the Employee Engagement Team and Communications function.
Required Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field or equivalent experience. Minimum of 10 years related experience.
Experience in the development and execution of employee communication strategies with measurable outcomes that directly contribute to business goals.
Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leader.
Strong ability to influence executive leaders and to gain their alignment during difficult conversations.
Proven experience in executive and employee communications, preferably in a corporate environment.
Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Strong operational skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively within the CORE operating system framework.
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex ideas and concepts into clear, concise messaging.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
Seek continuous improvement through metrics, feedback collection and evaluation/analytics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Poppulo, and other communication tools.
Travel required: 10-25%
This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
