Title: Geological Technician Position Summary: The Geological Technician and Operator performs a diverse range of tasks to support the geology team and overall mine operations. Work involves collecting and digitizing technical geological information, surveying drill holes, producing databases and maps, assisting in mineral exploration site inspections, and operating heavy machinery to support mine and camp operations. *This position is located at our Nechalacho mine site. The rotation is 3 weeks on and 3 weeks off with 12 hours of work per day. When time permits, this position may also help out as an Operator at the mine site* Reports to: Operations Manager Responsibilities:

• Maintain geological and geophysical databases.
• Analyze core samples from drilling sites for geotechnical measurements.
• Perform preliminary surveying of planned drill holes, including spotting collar locations, planning access roads, and drill pad layouts.
• Inspect completed drill pads for compliance to environmental standards.
• Complete final surveying of drill collars using a DGPS surveying system.
• Operate heavy machinery to support camp and mine operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Completion of relevant post-secondary education and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of geological field survey processes
• Knowledge of graphics, spreadsheet, and database software
• Ability work outdoors in remote locations
• Valid Class 5 driver\'s license
