We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both New and Used vehicle sales, with a proven track record of managing sales pipelines and achieving targets. This role requires exceptional communication skills, negotiation abilities, and a customer-centric approach to sales. As a General Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing strategies to enhance sales performance while fostering a positive team environment.
Duties
Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales goals.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies for outside and outbound sales initiatives.
Manage the entire sales pipeline from prospecting to closing deals.
Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills in negotiation, upselling, and customer service.
Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage customer relationships, and analyze performance metrics.
Collaborate with marketing teams to align strategies and improve lead generation efforts.
Oversee inventory management and control processes to ensure product availability for customers.
Maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and follow-up.
Skills
Proven experience in outside sales and high-end sales environments.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
Proficiency in CRM software for managing customer interactions and data.
Experience in automobile sales or dealership environments is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and retail math.
Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages is an asset
Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage audiences during presentations and sales meetings
Proficient in cold calling techniques and developing outbound sales strategies.
Demonstrated ability in marketing initiatives that drive customer engagement.
