Job Description


Robert Half is looking for a self-starting, organized General Office Clerk who enjoys interacting with a variety of people. Various administrative support tasks are integral to this position, which include operating office equipment and completing general clerical work. The General Office Clerk is offered as a permanent on-site role based in Ottawa, Ontario..

Reporting to the company owner, key responsibilities include:

  • Data entry, word processing, filing, scanning documents
  • Answer telephone calls and manage outgoing ones as well
  • Liaise with customers in a friendly manner and provide service quickly and accurately
  • Provide clerical support to the manager
  • Order processing
  • Change orders
  • Accepting and processing deliveries
Requirements
  • Ability to multitask and attention to detail are critical
  • Word, Excel, Microsoft Teams experience is required
  • 2 years experience working in office setting
  • Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work independently with little direction
  • Proficiency and accuracy in order entry
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
