Job Description

Robert Half is looking for a self-starting, organized General Office Clerk who enjoys interacting with a variety of people. Various administrative support tasks are integral to this position, which include operating office equipment and completing general clerical work. The General Office Clerk is offered as a permanent on-site role based in Ottawa, Ontario..

Reporting to the company owner, key responsibilities include:

- Data entry, word processing, filing, scanning documents
- Answer telephone calls and manage outgoing ones as well
- Liaise with customers in a friendly manner and provide service quickly and accurately
- Provide clerical support to the manager
- Order processing
- Change orders
- Accepting and processing deliveries

- Ability to multitask and attention to detail are critical
- Word, Excel, Microsoft Teams experience is required
- 2 years experience working in office setting
- Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to work independently with little direction
- Proficiency and accuracy in order entry
- Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
