Job Description

Job Title: General Manager - Security Job Summary: The General Manager - Security is responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the security division within the organization. The General Manager - Security will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to ensure the organization\'s security team and protocols are efficient, effective, and aligned with the Chief Executive Officer\'s goals and objectives. The General Manager - Security will oversee a team of security professionals and work closely with other departments to ensure the safety and security of the organization, its employees, and assets. The General Manager is required to be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekend, and holiday hours, such as during an emergency event or crisis. Duties and Responsibilities: - Oversee the day-to-day operations of the security division, including managing security personnel, systems, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to security
- Managing resources, driving important initiatives forward, executing policies and training programs, and fostering teamwork to ensure the provision of services
- Supervising the creation, execution, and tracking of both immediate and future objectives to reinforce the strategic initiatives and synchronize with the company\'s vision
- Manage the security budget, including identifying cost-saving measures and revenue-generating opportunities
- Assist with day-to-day operations
- Review existing training programs and employee development to ensure compliance and adequacy
- Work collaboratively with other departments to identify and implement security solutions that align with the organization\'s goals and objectives
- Provide guidance and support to management and operations team during crisis situations
- Liaise with clients to ensure customer retention and satisfaction
- Liaise with law enforcement agencies and other external security partners as needed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to security incidents and investigations
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies and industry trends and make recommendations to senior management
