General Manager

to oversee operations, drive growth, and ensure service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily operations of the company, including fleet management, dispatch, client relations, and logistics coordination. Supervise, support, and develop department managers and operational staff. Monitor KPIs to ensure profitability, safety, and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with ownership on business strategy, expansion plans, and performance targets. Implement process improvements, cost control measures, and quality assurance practices. Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, licenses, and safety protocols. Build and maintain relationships with key commercial clients and partners. Manage budgets, forecasts, and operational reports.

Qualifications

10+ years experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet-based industries. Proven leadership experience managing teams and operations. Strong knowledge of transportation compliance, routing, and dispatch systems. Financial acumen and experience with budgeting, P&L, and cost management. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Bilingual (English and French) is an asset. Proficiency with fleet/dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
