As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of operations, focusing on delivering outstanding guest experiences that reflect Hyatt's renowned hospitality standards while embracing the unique spirit of the Yukon. Success will be measured by successful hotel operations, exceptional guest satisfaction, strong financial performance, and the development of a motivated, competent team that positions the property as a leader in the Yukon market.
Key Performance Areas
Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and motivate managers and staff to ensure operational excellence and high employee engagement.
Operations: Oversee daily operations, ensuring top-quality guest experiences and maintaining high service standards.
Guest Satisfaction: Ensure exceptional service and resolve any guest concerns, maintaining a consistently positive experience.
Financial Performance: Drive revenue growth, control expenses, and manage budgets to achieve financial goals.
Community & Client Relations: Build strong local relationships and promote the hotel's presence in the community.
Strategic Planning & Reporting: Develop business plans, budgets, and forecasts; analyze performance and communicate results to ownership and stakeholders.
Compliance & Policies: Ensure compliance with legislation and company policies, addressing any employee issues with respect and professionalism.
Required Experience
General Manager experience of a large, full-service hotel property, including:
Managing budgets, driving revenue growth, optimizing operations, and overseeing profit and loss;
Fostering a strong team culture, with a focus on building capacity and motivating staff to achieve high service standards.
Experience managing franchised hotel properties, maintaining service standards and guest experiences in line with brand expectations.
Preferred:
Hyatt experience is a plus!
Post-secondary education in hospitality, hotel management, or business is an asset.

Compensation Details
Salary range: $85,000 based on 40 hours per week
