How You\xe2\x80\x99ll Make an Impact:
This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day client activities for the assigned property/facility. This person may have oversight of multiple buildings within a campus. The candidate must be able to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, effectively manage through stressful situations, and consistently make effective, high-quality decisions; must understand complex client and customer relationships and develop and effectively manage client and customer relationships, open, effective and consistent communication with client and customer representatives. The candidate will have overall responsibility for site budgets, accounting and finance, maintenance and operations, contract services, purchasing of material, equipment and supplies purchases, and occupancy services, administration and helpdesk. The unit is a regulatory environment that manufactures pharma products hence is governed by associated regulatory bodies and quality management systems. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and maintain superior client service practices for this Integrated Facility Management (IFM) account
  • Manage multiple service lines including food, facilities, and maintenance management
  • Develop and manage annual operating and capital expense budgets
  • Manage a staff of diverse skilled trades and professionals
  • Coordinate the operational aspects of the property in a manner which protects, maintains, and improves the value of the client\xe2\x80\x99s assets
  • Ensure all site management and operations practices are in compliance with company and client standards
  • Perform monthly reporting, forecasting and asset management on all sites
  • Implement preventive, ongoing and anticipated maintenance/repair programs
  • Participate in training related to GxP and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor all technical activities of the group with a focus on maintaining GxP compliance and respecting industry standards
  • Participate in and/or lead investigations into non-conformances, audit findings or other incidents occurring on site
  • Develop multi-year capital improvement project plans and manage the process to complete the capital projects
  • Manage third-party vendor contracted services as required, including periodic bidding and insurance updates
  • Coordinate and lead governance and other client meetings
  • Hire, train, coach, develop and evaluate team members
  • Monitor performance per scopes of work and contractual agreements
  • Responsible for the application and respect of health and safety rules and regulations
  • Conduct regular EHS meetings and audits within the group


Qualifications
What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Need to Succeed:
  • Bachelor\'s degree with minimum 10 years experience preferred
  • Pharmaceutical experience in manufacturing and facilities operations preferred
  • Professional license or certification is desired but not required
  • Superior people management skills
  • Superior client realtionship management skills
  • Entreprenurial spirit
  • Ability to plan and manage within budget and time constraints
  • Experience with managing multiple vendors and small capital projects
  • Experience with building and utility systems
  • Experience with PMs and CMMS systems (experience with EAMS is a significant asset)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook and Time & Attendance programs
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Understanding commercial leases, routine accounting methods, and trade union protocols
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
