This is not an office job. It requires physical strength/stamina and the ability to work at heights.

Duties

Strictly adhere to and comply with Health and Safety policies, rules, and regulations Load rooftops with bundles of shingles and related products Work closely and co-operatively with driver to ensure safe and efficient delivery of product Handle material by hand and with use of appropriate equipment When not on deliveries you will be required to perform warehouse duties such as moving inventory, shipping, receiving or other duties as required Maintain clean and organized work environment

Skills and Abilities

Must understand and comply with required health and safety regulations Able to assess a situation and recognize potential hazards Must have strong reasoning and problem solving skills Be comfortable working at heights Able to lift of up to 36kg (80lbs.) Able to work outside in various weather conditions Able to stand for extended periods of time Past experience in building products and/or working at heights are definite assets Full training will be provided

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent work experience Fall Protection Certification (an asset) Workings at Heights Certification (an asset)
