Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated General Labourer to support our powder coating operations. The successful candidate will assist in preparing parts for coating, operating equipment, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring quality standards are met. No prior powder coating experience is required, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare metal parts for powder coating (e.g., cleaning, masking, sanding, hanging). Load and unload parts on racks or conveyor systems. Assist in the application of powder coating using spray equipment (under supervision if necessary). Inspect finished products for quality and consistency. Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area. Assist in equipment maintenance and routine cleaning. Follow directions from supervisors and work cooperatively with the team.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or coating is an asset but not required. Ability to lift up to [50 lbs / 23 kg] and stand for long periods. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial environment. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Willingness to learn new skills and follow detailed instructions. Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.

Work Environment:

Exposure to high temperatures, loud noise, and powder coating materials. Requires use of safety gear such as masks, gloves, and protective clothing.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
