Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable General Labourer to maintain and organize our busy construction rental yard. This physical, outdoor role involves initial installation and ongoing maintenance of the system at high-rise construction sites. It also involves assisting with equipment handling, yard upkeep, and general tasks to support the team.

Skills Required:

Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.), stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions Comfort working at heights (40+ story building) Experience in high-rise construction or window washing is a plus Valid forklift operator license (not required) Knowledge of basic safety rules PPE: Safety boots and hard hat mandatory Comprehensive training provided

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and organized yard Load and unload construction equipment Stage and prepare orders for shipping Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as cleaning equipment Assist with inventory tracking and organizing rental items Support customers by preparing rental equipment and answering questions Follow all safety guidelines and report any hazards Walking distance to Sperling-Burnaby Lake Sky-Train Station

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00/hour Overtime pay available On-the-job training Opportunities for advancement
