Loonie Toons Pontoons and Powersports is currently seeking to fill the role of a

General Labourer

with immediate availability. Loonie Toons is a vibrant family owned and operated business built around family values, teamwork and customer service. Applicants must be highly organized, practice good communication skills interpersonally and clerically, demonstrate responsibility and dedication.
This role requires physical stamina, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This is a Part-Time, Seasonal or can be turned into Full-Time hourly position in the Marine industry, where you'll have the opportunity to showcase your expertise and contribute to our success.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist in wrapping in the (fall) preparation, including building wooden structures and installation shrink wrap on various types of boats, pontoons, personal watercrafts etc. Involved in various tasks related to landscape, building boat frames and wrapping, moving boats to the service center on a tractor and removing them when mechanics are completed, maintenance and construction projects. Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain power tools safely. You will be responsible for performing general upkeep and maintenance tasks in and around our dealership. - Use hand tools for various tasks, including building structures and installation of canvas tops, covers and more.. Collaborate with team members on project goals and timelines, ensuring quality workmanship.

Requirements :
- Previous experience in a general labor is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment is a plus.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to boating, service, building, and landscape maintenance.

Ability to work outside in hot and cold weather conditions. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role. Excellent time-management and organizational skills Strong problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and in a team environment Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable means of transportation Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.

This position reports to the General Manager This position requires team members to work varying hours, seasonal overtime, and shifts during days, evenings, and weekends This position requires team members to stand for extended periods, climb a ladder and to move merchandise (weighing up to 30 pounds) throughout the store Steel toe, green patch work boots are required
