THE OPPORTUNITY

Retrieve product and feed onto packaging lines. Inspect product, packages, seals, and date codes and remove any defects. Pack and label finished product, palletize onto skids, and move to staging area. Retrieve packaging materials and load onto machines. Troubleshoot machinery, clear jams, and make size adjustments when required. Complete housekeeping of work areas . Assist with equipment set up, washdown and line changeovers. Properly lockout and restart equipment according to safety procedures. Complete all required production and QA paperwork. Maintain food safety standards in work responsibilities and report food safety issues. Work in a safe manner in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act. Follow all prescribed SOPs, rotation schedules, HACCP and GMP procedures. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

THE REQUIREMENTS

Read, write, and communicate (English) Basic mathematical skills Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail Ability to work effectively both as an individual and team member Ability to work in a cold environment

Previous work experience in manufacturing preferred but not required, if you are eager to learn, we would love for you to apply
