Job Description

This is a 3 month contract position.

Role Purpose

The Swamper/Field Labourer is responsible for assisting with the installation of screw piles. This role is integral in the set-up, support, pin-up, locating and positioning of each screw pile.

Job Duties

Provide labour support to operators. Applies the required markings to the product (such as pile identification numbers, customer order numbers, heat numbers and pile locations). Assists with basic maintenance tasks, including shoveling tracks and knows the lubrication points on equipment. Demonstrates good housekeeping habits by keeping the site clean and tidy to prevent injuries and property damage. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Clean class 5 driver's license Field safety tickets including First Aid, H2S, CSTS, Fall Protection, and Ground Disturbance are an asses This is a safety sensitive position and will require candidates to comply with Almita's drug and alcohol program.

Construction environment Exposure to loud noises and extreme temperatures Usually outdoors, including travel to remote locations Physical elements include bending, twisting, crouching, kneeling, standing for long periods of time, lifting weights up to 50 pounds frequently and in excess of 50 pounds occasionally with assistance Work schedule may vary; shift work Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times
