General Labour/Assemblers (Hand Tool Experience) 175 AP

$20.00 an hour

Responsibilities
-Use a variety of measuring instruments including tape measures, squares, and levels
-Use a variety of hand and power tools including tin snips, screw guns, drills, and grinders to assemble custom HVAC equipment
-Read blueprints and assembly drawings
-Assemble of equipment base frames, wall panels and cabinet, and internal components
-Lifting up to 40lbs
-Other duties as assigned
Assets
-Previous general labour experience
-Basic knowledge of assembly/manufacturing equipment and processes an asset
-Experience with sheet metal and metal fabrication processes an asset
-Physically capable; able to lift heavy parts (50lbs) and stand for extended periods of time
-Basic math, reading, and computer skills
-Ability to work under pressure and short deadlines
-Experience with industrial painting is an asset
