Pay: Competitive pay based on experience

We are seeking a skilled and versatile General Handyman to join our team, performing repairs and maintenance across apartment buildings throughout the Lower Mainland. This role involves a wide range of work, from routine fixes to larger building projects. Candidates must have strong hands-on skills, attention to detail, and pride in quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Carpentry & Repairs

Drywall cutting, patching, taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing Baseboard, trim, and moulding replacement and refinishing Minor framing adjustments and backing installation

Painting & Finishing

Surface preparation, priming, and detailed painting/touch-ups Refinishing handrails, door frames, and metal surfaces to match existing finishes

Doors & Hardware

Adjustment and alignment of doors, hinges, closers, and astragals Installation and repair of door closers, hydraulic arms, and door stoppers Installation of astragals, threshold plates, and weatherstripping

Plumbing (Minor Repairs)

Unclogging drains using snake tools or manual methods Faucet and fixture adjustments, basic repairs, and maintenance

Concrete & Exterior Work

Installation of safety bollards into concrete for vehicle and pedestrian protection Resetting pavers and minor concrete patch work

Requirements

Minimum 5+ years hands-on experience in handyman, maintenance, or construction trades Strong technical knowledge across multiple trades (carpentry, painting, doors, plumbing basics, lighting) Proficient with power tools, lifts, ladders, and grinders Valid Class 5 Driver's License and reliable transportation Professional, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
