Job Title: General Construction Labourer/Driver

Position Overview:

We are seeking a versatile and reliable General Construction Labourer to support our construction projects. This role combines hands-on labor, truck driving, and skilled trades such as carpentry and drywall. The ideal candidate is a hardworking team player, comfortable with physical work, and capable of safely operating a truck for pick-ups and deliveries. MUST have a Valid Driving Licence & clean driving record.

Key Responsibilities:

Truck Operations & Deliveries:

Safely operate company vehicles for pick-ups, deliveries, and dump runs. Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are loaded/unloaded properly. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and material movements.

Construction Labour: Assist in general construction tasks, including site preparation, cleanup, and material handling. Perform light carpentry work such as cutting, assembling, and installing wood components. Assist with drywall installation, taping, mudding, sanding, and repairs as needed.
Site Support:

Maintain a clean and organized job site. Assist skilled tradespeople as needed. Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all site regulations.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in construction, labour, or trade assistance preferred. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to operate a truck safely for deliveries and dump runs. Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move construction materials. Basic knowledge of carpentry and drywall is an asset. Good communication and teamwork skills. Safety-conscious and reliable.
Work Environment:

Active construction sites, indoor and outdoor. May involve heavy lifting, standing, bending, and working in varying weather conditions.

Flexible and willing to adapt to different tasks as project needs arise.
Punctual and dependable with strong work ethic

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Construction : 2 years (preferred)
