Job Summary:

As a General Accountant for Terus you will be responsible for assisting the Finance Team in executing the day-to-day deliverables including data entry, analysis and reconciliation across all activities.

Responsibilities:

Financial Data Entry: Accurately record financial transactions into the accounting system or spreadsheets.

Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliations to ensure that financial records match the transactions recorded and or physical counts

Record Maintenance: Filing and organizing financial documents, ensuring they are easily accessible for audits and reference.

Financial Reporting: Assist in generating financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, or potential areas for cost-saving measures.

Qualifications

  • We are looking for someone with a bachelor degree or diploma in Business Administration or Accounting. Working towards CPA designation would be considered an asset
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills which will work well with the Operations Team ensuring costing is accurate, timely, and reliable.
  • This position will appeal to a bright, motivated individual who thrives in a demanding and fast paced work environment.
  • This person must be highly organized and skilled at multitasking.
  • This person will have developed skills and knowledge of Microsoft products with good knowledge of Excel. VBA and Query based reporting would be an asset.
