Job Summary



We are seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant to join our Finance team in Markham. The accountant will perform with various accounting tasks in managing day-to-day accounting and finance functions

Responsibilities:



Manage Accounts Receivable and Payable Functions

Prepare and post journal entries for revenue, expenses, and financial statements

Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank transactions and inter- company accounts

Daily/monthly banking transactions that include account transfers, daily bank deposits and reconciliations of various bank accounts and credit cards

Complete monthly HST filings, Commissions Reporting, and Payroll

Experience/Qualification:



Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance

Job Type: Full-time
