Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable
General Accountant
to support our accounting department during a peak operational period. This role will assist with day-to-day accounting functions for bothKaneff Group
andKaneff Golf
, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.Responsibilities:
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger reconciliations Perform account analysis and assist with budget tracking Support accounts payable and receivable processes as needed Assist in preparing financial reports and schedules Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards Provide ad hoc financial support to the Controller and Senior Accountants Support seasonal golf operations with accounting-related tasks
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2+ years of experience in general accounting or related roles Strong understanding of accounting principles and reporting practices Proficient in Excel and accounting software (experience with
Yardi
