As a General Accountant, you'll play a key role in ensuring the financial heartbeat of our entertainment and hospitality operations runs smoothly. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, you'll manage day-to-day accounting activities across multiple business lines -- from events and food services to attractions.

Essential Job Functions:



Maintain accurate general ledger records and perform month-end and year-end close processes Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedules Support financial reporting and analysis for various departments (events, catering, amusement, attractions) Assist on ensuring compliance with ASPE and internal controls Support external audit and tax preparation activities Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow across venues and events as required Participate in developing procedures in line with accounting standards and practices Continuously improve processes to drive efficiency and accuracy across finance functions Additional analysis and reporting, as requested. Other duties and analysis as assigned

Job Specifications:



Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field CPA designation or in pursuit considered an asset 1-3 years of general accounting experience (hospitality or multi-entity experience an asset) Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation processes Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, or similar ERP an asset) High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills Positive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement Position is based out of Head Office Location, some travel is required to off-site locations Weekend and evening hours are required as necessary


This is a permanent, full-time position. In office Monday to Friday.
