DCBank, a private Canadian Schedule 1 Bank, is seeking a Reconciliation Accountant to join its team. The position would be based in Calgary, AB. The ideal incumbent is one who is highly motivated, and gets things done accurately, effectively and with minimal supervision. Education, Experience and Skills:
Relevant Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree from a recognized university or college or relevant experience
Professional accountant designation not required, but may be working towards a designation
Advanced skills with Excel and general proficiency with MS Word and Outlook
Specific Responsibilities:
Reconciliation of all Settlement files to Treasury and Corporate Client Accounts
Investigate unreconciled items to ensure settlement and accurate posting to client accounts
Reconciles discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
Assist with day to day accounting function including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, verifying accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents
Assisting with all monthly, quarterly and year end reporting requirements
Adhere to accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Documentation and Support of Settlement & Reporting systems and processes
