Job Description


Our client is looking for a Senior Asset Manager who will oversee and optimize the performance of a portfolio of assets, typically in the context of real estate, investments, or other financial instruments. This role involves a combination of financial analysis, strategic planning, and operational management to maximize the value and returns on these assets.

The Senior Asset Manager is responsible for managing and maximizing the performance of a portfolio of assets, ensuring that they achieve their financial and operational objectives. This role involves strategic planning, financial analysis, and oversight of day-to-day operations to optimize the value and returns of the assets under management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Portfolio Management:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive asset management strategies to achieve financial goals and objectives.
  • Monitor the overall performance of the asset portfolio and make adjustments as needed to maximize returns.
2. Financial Analysis:
  • Conduct financial analysis, including cash flow projections, budgeting, and financial modeling, to assess asset performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of various strategies and make recommendations to stakeholders.
3. Operational Oversight:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the assets, including property management, maintenance, and tenant relations.
  • Ensure that assets are well-maintained and comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
4. Risk Management:
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the assets, such as market fluctuations, tenant turnover, or regulatory changes.
  • Develop risk management strategies to protect the value of the portfolio.
5. Stakeholder Communication:
  • Communicate regularly with investors, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates on asset performance and strategy execution.
  • Address any concerns or inquiries from stakeholders in a professional manner.
6. Asset Acquisition and Disposition:
  • Assist in the acquisition and disposition of assets, including due diligence, negotiations, and transaction management.
  • Evaluate potential investments and dispositions based on financial analysis and market research.
7. Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and contractual obligations.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on asset performance to stakeholders.
8. Team Management:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of asset management professionals, if applicable.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in finance, real estate, business, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in asset management, real estate, or finance.
  • Strong financial analysis skills, including proficiency in financial modeling and budgeting.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience with Leasing, Apartment Rentals, Industrial and Retail, Tenant Improvements, Acquisition, Development
  • Experience Managing a team, suppliers, and contractors
  • Experience with rent collection
